The Internet in 2025

Since the moment people became familiar with the web in 1994, its popularity amongst internet users has grown dramatically. It is known as the worldwide interconnection of individual networks all controlled by the government party. In the last few years, interned has changed the way people communicate and do business.

According to the Huffington Post, in the year 2025 we will forget the internet even exists. There will be no more going onto the web or having to connect to different networks. In fact, we will just be online. And in the opinion of senior research scientist at MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory David Clark," internet will to some extent, blend into the background of all we do." And already in 2014, we are allowing the web to become our everyday partner. Something we are so used to, sometimes we forget to look for clues outside of its sources.

Internet has enabled great access to education. Thousands of sources allow students to get answers right away instead of spending few hours in the library. Hal Varian, Google's chief economist believes that the, "biggest impact on the world will be universal access to all human knowledge." This gives every individual a pass to becoming world's smartest person.

As the technology advances, there is a bit of fear on how it will shape who we will be in the future. Creators of new technologies and apps are constantly working on improving and changing the web's features. But how will the web change us? The internet becomes our guide, even giving us solutions on how to deal with life's problems. With so much help, the question is whether we will be able to handle communication eye-to-eye with others away from the screen. Chief researcher Bob Briscoe believes, that those who are constantly drawn into the web will becomes more superficial and unsustainable. In other words, it will make the generation quite lonely, isolated from physical communication and married to a operation system.
