Planet
earth experienced a global quake, with a magnitude of approximately 7 billion
on Tuesday, September 1st, 2015. The magnitude, however, was not measured with
a standard seismograph, nor does it follow the Richter Scale; The number of the
magnitude represents the total of astonished persons on this trembling,
vulnerable planet.
Coincidentally,
on Tuesday, September 1st, 2015, the American, multinational technological
company, known as Google, modified its logo. From social media websites such as
Facebook and Twitter, to national breaking news broadcasts such as CNN, and ABC
news, the entire world is now buzzing about this incredible adjustment.
Today, scientists are becoming more and more skeptical of these two recent events and how they may be connected. Studies show that as soon as the logo changed, millions of people were notified, however, not through first-look experience. Betsy Ross, an avid social media user, states that she saw the news about Google's logo change via twitter; and like Betsy, millions confess that they, themselves, did not know the logo changed until discovering it upon a secondhand source. In fact, the news about this logo visited the front page of many breaking news websites. For example, a day after the logo let out, the news hit CNN's top stories on their Tech tab.
As
you see here, Google's new logo is much more important than Nest's new 3rd
generation thermostat that, according to USA today, warns users to any patterns
in the furnace or air conditioning system overheating, which is very important
to a user’s safety and well-being. Below the main news on CNN’s Tech page,
there is a section labeled “more news,” where less important news articles are
stored. These news stories include Spotify’s new privacy policy, if employers could
see all actions on their employees’ phones, and if Windows 10 contains privacy
issues the world should know about.
Moreover, scientists believe
that order of news on websites, like CNN, matter. For example, interviewers questioned
bystanders and asked if they knew about Spotify’s new privacy policy. The
privacy policy includes allowing the users’ information to be shared, used and
processed by the service. This information includes media files, pictures, and
locations of the users. This article is extremely significant due to the fact
that it alerts users of what’s in the terms and conditions. Today, people agree
to sell their souls to the devil without knowing because they don’t read the
terms and conditions. Out of 50 people, only 2 said they knew about the change
in policy, and one ran away screaming no comment.
Since the news about
Google’s new logo surpasses these other important news stories, and is ranked
very highly, no wonder why more and more people find out about it so quickly.
Google’s logo is crucial to society, and must be recognized immediately.
Google’s new logo is the
news. Now that there’s a dramatic change in bytes used by the logo, world
hunger is becoming less of an issue. Since the text is now flat, instead of 3D,
America’s debt is cleared.
Knowing about Google’s
new logo will obviously change the world for the better. Google’s new logo is
love. Google’s new logo is life.
